How it works

1. Arrive and settle in

Start with a sparkling welcome drink and use conversation starters to meet other guests. Most guests arrive alone.

2. Taste and learn

Try four wines, guided by your expert hosts who keep things fun. No prior knowledge is needed.

3. Connect naturally

Take part in fun wine-related challenges to get to know other guests better.

4. See your matches

At the end you’ll receive a secret envelope that reveals who in the room shares your taste in wine…

Every event is led by experienced and qualified wine professionals, not just event organisers. See About Us for more info.

We’re designed for connection

You’ll meet everyone in the room naturally, and you already have something in common with them. You sit in groups, this is not intense speed dating.

We’re a no pressure event

This is a proper evening out. You’ll enjoy a wine tasting that will help you each time you shop. And even if you don’t connect with someone on the night, you haven’t wasted your time.

We’re a smart way to match

Our Palate Pairing system is unique to us, we built it! It shows you who in the room shares a similar taste in wine as you, i.e.. the perfect person to share a bottle of wine with.

 FAQs

  • We run events to meet people for dating or friendship.

    The type of event will be listed on the booking form.

  • Yes, we run events in London and Manchester currently, with plans to expand further into more cities.

  • We run dating events for all age groups - the individual events will specify what the age range is for that event.

    We do ask that you please respect these ranges.

    Friendship events do not have specific ages.

  • Most of our guests match between 1 - 3 people on the night. Some with more, some with less - it really depends on how your palates align.

  • Yes we do! Sign up to our mailing list / follow on Instagram to hear when new events are launched.

  • Venues and ticket sales vary, but on average we make available 22 tickets.

    Some venues with smaller capacity will have 12 tickets available.

    Occasionally we do get last minute cancellations/no shows which can alter the number of guests in the room.

  • If you cannot attend on the evening we will try to transfer your ticket to another event if there is an upcoming event with space.

    You can also gift/sell your ticket to a friend.

    Refunds are available 14 days in advance of the event (Eventbrite’s fees are non refundable)

  • At the end of the event you will receive a secret envelope that lists who in the room your palate is aligned to.

    If you would like to share your details with them, you can either do so on the night or email us the next day and we will pass them on.

    We never share people’s details without their consent.

  • We would love to, and if there is demand we can put an event on.
